The Filipino Canadian Association of Ryerson (FCAR) hosted a 'Two Toonie Tuesday' food sale earlier today. Some of the meals available were lumpia spring rolls, palabok glass noodles, Filipino menudo, a veggie dish, and for dessert, puto, pichi-pichi, kutsina rice cakes. This was the first event in Filipino Awareness at Ryerson, a week-long event where students can learn about and experience Filipino culture.

All the proceeds from the food sale went to Migrante, a worldwide organization that supports migrant Filipinos' rights abroad.
